About Us
We strive to make Little Blessings a place where our school
age children feel a sense of security and responsibility
combined with a sense of freedom and trust. We see
socialization and "free time" as important as scheduled
projects. We want the children to feel at home while in our
care. |
|
Our Purpose |
| |
To provide for the community a high-quality program in the
atmosphere of Christian love.
Enhance and encourage intellectual, spiritual, physical,
social, emotional and creative growth through a variety of
developmentally appropriate activities.
Help young children recognize themselves as capable and
lovable gifts of God.
Help guide young children toward a joyful relationship with
God.
Help families in guiding their young children's growth and
development
|
|
Our Philosophy |
| |
It is our philosophy that each child is a unique gift of God
and should be given the opportunity to grow individually to
his or her fullest potential.
We believe that the best and most effective means of teaching
is through Love, Patience, Forgiveness, Faith and
Encouragement as exemplified through Jesus Christ.
In addition we believe that a loving and encouraging
environment combined with prayer and the love of God is the
strongest possible foundation for further learning and living.
We feel that the family unit ia an important part of the young
child's development, and encourage family participation in the
learning and growing process.

Our History |
| |
Little Blessings was founded in the fall of 1991 as a half-day
preschool program. We soon grew to include 2 preschool classes and
an afternoon kindergarten.
In 1994, we moved to our new facility at Tri County Christian
Center and were embraced into the church family as a part of their
ministry.
In
1998, as a response to many requests, we expanded to offer
full-day childcare for ages 3-12
